NEW YORK HOOP DRAGONS ADDED TO ABA EXPANSION

                Indianapolis, IN.

The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that the New York Hoop Dragons will begin play on Long Island NY when the 2020-2021 season officially begins in November.  “We are very encouraged with President Trump’s 3-phase rollout to get the economy going again and are pretty confident that we, along with other sports leagues, will be ready to go by November,” stated ABA CEO Joe Newman.  “We hope so and are very pleased to have Perry Ian Tischler and his son Joshua as part of the ABA.”

The team will be co-owned by Mr. Tischler, a NY attorney, who has been practicing law for almost 30 years and has a portfolio of other financial and real estate ventures. Joshua is a student at Bayside High School and is currently a point guard for the Bayside Commodores and will be pursuing a degree in Sports Management.

“We have been loyal fans of the NY basketball scene since my father took me to Madison Square Garden to see Walt Frazier, Earl Monroe and the Knicks in 1972,” added Mr. Tischler. Many families are out-priced for these experiences and we believe that a Hoop Dragon game will be an exciting and fun experience for basketball fans and their families. We look forward to building a team that will not only compete successfully but encompass the diversity that is New York.”
